What do we need to build the station?
To build the station we need volunteers, supporters, funding, and equipment. Funding would go toward equipment and operations expenses.
Equipment expenses for the station include:
Office equipment (desk, phone, computer, etc);
Studio equipment (mixers, microphones, computers, recorders, etc);
Broadcast equipment (studio to transmitter link (STL), transmitter, back up generator, emergency alert system translator, customized antenna).
Operations expenses for the station include: studio space/rent, small staff, utilities (phone, internet, electricity, etc), services, syndicated programming, & equipment maintenance.
